Does anyone know if the oliver logos the shields and keystone are still trademarked. I see stuff on the HPOCA store on line and in the book from different venders but do not see any thing around them that would suggest that they are still trade marked. I would like to start making shirts and hats and stuff with these on them but don't know if AGCO would come after you and don't want to get in trouble but would like to put this stuff out there. I know that the JD stuff is watched like a hawk and there is all kind of that stuff out there and would like to see are brand represented.

I honestly think that the trademarks are owned by AGCO yet. I have purchased newer Oliver toys made by Ertl and they say something to the effect that permission was given by AGCO to make the toy and to use the logos these real tractors had. I have purchased decal sets from various people, and I have seen differences in their design from the original design. Like with Dumonts Decals (which I have no complaints about) the word "Oliver" in my decal set for our 1755 has a different looking letter "L" then the original would have. Makes me believe that AGCO owns the copyright yet.

This is true, Agco owns the trademarks, I believe everything except Cletrac, which was sold as an empty corporation many years ago I believe it was the Mailman brothers who sold off that portion of the Oliver Farm Equipment Corporation. The Oliver trademarks have been kept current, which would prevent them from going into the public domain. If someone wants to use these trademarks, they should get a license from Agco.
