Hello Oliver friends. I found an Oliver 80 row crop with a very good and clear serial tag: ser# 104518. The tractor has a wide front. It is crank start. Problem is, it is in really rough shape. It is stuck bad, with one rear rim rotted away, manifold busted. Carb and Mag are there. I want to make an offer to the person who has it. Is it an uncommon tractor? And what year is it? Any help from anyone would most sincerely be appreciated!

An 18-27 will say hart-parr on radiator and engine block.
Going by serial # it's an 18-27.

104 518 would be an 18-27 or what is known as a Standard Rowcrop. Check and see if the numbers 18-27 do appear on the serial number tag.

My book says that they started in 1937 at serial # 109152. So if you mixed the 9 for a 4 yours would be a 1937. Hope this helps. Larry
