Um , I hope this is the right time to bring up this subject again.
I haven't been able to find the right tractor as yet (Oliver 1950 FWA 3pl DD4-53) , where should I be looking ?, where should I advertise ?.
It isn't hard to find the quarantine requirements , they are on the net , yes , it would be smart to have the machine well , professionally cleaned , before it left.
The problem is , I haven't been able to find any organisation interested in doing it yet !.

I have had a fair bit of experience importing/exporting oilfield equipment internationally. There are brokering and freight forwarding agents in any port city or international airport around the world. I would start by making a few calls there and see if they can assist you. I have cleaned dirt from many loads myself for international transport and have never had any trouble. The farm equipment dealers in Australia will likely have a network of agents to assist in importation of new equipment that might be available for hire.

As for finding your tractor, you are probably looking in the right place right now. Every one on this forum can spot an Oliver or Cockshutt tractor from at least 300 m away. I think the tractor you desire is both rare and prized by those few who own them.

Thanks Dave.
Leroy Becton did find a very good tractor for me , but unfortunately it went up for auction the next day !. And it did bring a very good price.
Keep me in the "memory bank" Dave , if you see a good 1950 , Oliver or Cockshutt.
I work horses here too , and have a Cockshutt "Kid Kangaroo" 2 furrow riding gang plough. It is a magnificent machine , but I'm having trouble with 1 bearing plate , do you know of any Cockshutt plough people ?.
