The 30 Diesel is one we bought new in 1954 and has a wide row crop front end. The 3 point hitch is missing and also the fenders. Most of the tin is straight and it runs good. Needs a battery box

The 40 Diesel is a 1952 model and has a wide row crop front end Most of the tin is straight and it runs good also. Needs some minor parts.

I would like a general value of each tractor.

Thank you, Don Ballagh

Phil Hiesy pops in here from time to time he may have a better idea on prices. Diesel 30's are few and far between so would add some to value. Is the 40 a Perkins 4 cylinder or buda 6 ? Buda 6 are hard to find as they appently had head problems. and perkins parts are pricey. And the 30 diesel parts would be a tough time to find at any price. So good running helps greatly and as always location your at too!

thanks, Canada Grant! The 40 is a Buda 6 and was manufactured in 1952. Both tractors are running.
I would like to know how many 40 diesels were manufactured. The 30D was around 200. Many of the 40's were pirated for the rear ends to use in pullers. I doubt there are a lot of them left in original condition.
