Here are a couple of pics from that 2150 we be looking at. 20.8x38s on the rear - about 50% or less. fronts are 14.9 x 26 - left is less than 50%, right is more. by the prices they get around here - we are looking at around $2,000 just in rubber pretty soon. we would be at least owner #3. fender tanks are supposed to be good. as said before, it has 4500 hours, front seal leak for sure, 3 pt hitch, MFWA, over/under, motor runs good - no smoke, little blow-by, tranny shifts as it should. all signs say good except the motor front seal issues...
the price is $7,500. what do y'all think?
i hope the pic comes thru - let me know if you want another or bigger...
if the pic doesnt show, here is the link...

thanks.

Planetary rear ends were standard on 2050, optional on 2150's. If the front end is leaking that means at least they kept oil in it. A lot of horse for the money. We had a 2150 blow up our shops old M&W P200 dyno when it went past 250HP. Pump had been modified but the guts of the motor were still stock.

She's a rare one! That's probably too much if you plan to farm with it, but I'd pay that just to have one.

It looks to me like it does not have the Planetary final drives either. How about Over under? One of our customers purchased one a year ago with the straight shaft in ther case!.

Seems to be a good price to me. I have almost that in my 2wd 2150 and it still needs pump adjusted. It's worth it if you like it.

I think that $7,500 is plenty for that tractor. I have only seen two or three of them sell though.

Does he have any more front weights for it?? Any duels to go with it?? Did it have a cab???

Its up to you. Those 2150's are kinda rare, but that one looks to be kinda rusty and worn for that price. Corse I am cheap.

Good luck

hey ShepVA,
here is another view of it - front end looks good. and here is the left side of the motor. that is what we thought too - $7,500 for this thing in good/very good condition would be OK. but as it is, it has a significant problem - the front seal. i can see $5,000 - in a heartbeat. $6,000 yes. $6,500 probably yes. $7,000 - i dont think so. as to your quesitons - no cab (which we prefer), no duals - he only made dry hay with it, and i dont think he had any front weights - but didnt ask for sure. further, we arent set up to paint but if we bought this we would have to be :) thanks for the info and advice.

For what you are going to do with that tractor I 100% agree with your assesment. A collector may want to spend that much just to have that tractor, but to actually put it in the field and use it, it is not worth that much. From what I am seeing that tractor is going to soak you for new tires and some parts before you ever get it to the field, and I think the price it too high for that. Keep messing with the seller and see if he will come down any.

Good luck.

PS. I like your 1650's new front fenders. I need to figure out how to put lights on mine :-)
