What is a fair price to pay for a 77 that needs
a carb kit, has full side curtains and fenders,
and last ran last spring? I can get it for 800.00
What should I look for as far as other necessary
repairs i.e. expensive parts, etc. Also, what is
a fair price for a running 70, no side curtains,
and stuck oil rings? My grandpa worked at an Oliver dealer when I was a kid, so these have
sentimentel value to me.

On the 77 the side curtains are worth the $800 I'd jump on both of them they are very good tractors, wish I knew of them I'd buy the in 1/2 heart beat, the 77 is a 38HP tractor that pulls like a 45 HP tractor. A carb kit for the 77 is about $25 , hope this gets you to spend some money they are worth buying
