Aumann now posts all the results to his auctions on his web site and you can probally view these results in a couple of days. You can also go back and look at his prices over the last year and there have been a few heavy oliver sales that he has had. The 440 went to the guy a month ago that sold his collection and he had a 2 super 44's that brought 9k, 11k and he paid 9750 for this one don't understand.

Likewise today,440 9750,770 Standard 6500,Super 44 stuck 4750,1650 Underslung 7500,550 gas 5000,660 7900,66 Standard 4250,990 GM 8000, Super 99 with wrong engine gas 5000, 550 gas 4000. These were some of the higher priced ones,I'd say most of the rest were average priced. To many to list here. I quit keeping score after about 45 and about 10 short of the last of the better tractors, Didn't follow the prices of the skeletons and parts tractors, as I got hungry.

What engine was in the Super 99? Why was it the wrong engine? Was the serial number plate for a diesel? What kind of shape was the 990 in?

Thank you,
A.P.

The Super 99 had a 1850 or 1855 Gas Engine in it. The 990 was a good straight tractor but as RB said it did not run (pump problem?) and it would not stay in 3rd gear.

They announced that the engine had been switched to a piece of stationary equipment that sold later in the sale.If I heard correctly I think they said it had been a diesel. The 990 looked to be in good shape but not running if I recall. These two models are not of my particular interest, therefore I didn't pay full attention.Maybe someone else who was there might have more info and happen to read this.

I thought the 88s brought pretty decent prices (average was probably around 1800.) If you were looking for a tractor to use, the smaller 4 digit tractors were resonable (Mid 3s to low 4s) The lone MH 30 with the Chevy 6 brought $500 :-)
