Needing to pull the engine in my 1855. Majior work needs to be done. Well got the plug out the o ring and all, but damn it is tight in the. We already have the top off the trans and it seems to just be hung up at the flywheel. Any ideas as to how to get it to move. Slid hammer on the bolt in the end of the shaft????? ???

Screw a long 1/2" bolt with a nut into the shaft. Use the nut as a lock-nut, tighten it against the shaft. Use an impact wrench, set it on a low torque setting and try to tighten the bolt, while pulling back on the bolt. Works every time.

Screw a piece of ready bolt into the shaft. Put a piece of flat iron through ready bolt and then a nut. Basically your making a puller.Tighten nut and this might get it started.
