Stopped by this afternoon to look at a 550 oliver tractor....heres what I know...4 cylinder diesel
caked up with grease so much could not tell much more than that, has spin out rear wheels, 3pt.,
gear shift sits over to one side somewhat and stick has a dog leg to it...sheet metal looked good had a plastic grille. Tractor runs but needs rebuild (smokes like a cannon on a battle ship)
needs starter and or ring gear. lift opperates ok with a heavy harrow on it, tranny and clutch ok.
My questions are 1) where can I find the serial number and year model?
2) ball park figure what do you think its worth?
3)does it have any collector value?

Thanks guys..

Model & Serial Plate Between Clutch Pedal arm and foot rest. Probably late 60's early 70's ??
$1500 to 2500
Depends if your a 550 Oliver collector???
They are a Great Utility Tractor to use.
I'm in the process of rebuilding a 67 gas.
