and would LOVE to see this under my tree. If it won't fit under the tree you can park it in the yard.

I promise to name it Osceola Outlaw and will play nice with the other "green" boys. Wood shed whuppins only when needed.

Still being a good boy in FLA!

If I remember right, I saw that one on ebay a few months ago, apairantly nobody bought it yet. If you ask me, it's beacuse of all the 0's in the price. No tractor that old, no matter how many trophies won or work done is worth the tag he has on his. No wonder he can't get a bid. Although I must say, it would be pretty sweet to play around with, but I still gotta come up with another $2000 for my 1600 project. Truck gave me problems and took up mot of my tractor fund back in the spring.(complete brake job - rear lines and front rotors. Even replaced rear axel seals, all new shocks, oil pan, wiper motor, speedo cable-which still don't work--, new fluid in 5-speed, 2 new relays & pigtails, new fuel pump, 2 new fuel tanks, 1 new sender, fuel filter, tires, and a few other odds & ends.) I did everything exept tires myself, and it still cost me about 2,500 - 3000 for everything. All on my rusty but trusty '88 F150, straight 6 efi, 5 sp mitsubishi tranny, 2 wd farm working machine.
Ooooh yeah, almost forgot- I also added a new frame mount trailer hitch receiver, as the bumper is a little loose and unsafe from hard work. Isn't money grand? about 1,000 grand?

I hear ya! This yr. I had to replace 2 trannys. One on the wife's truck and one on the rice burner work car. Then the clutch on my 550, and a bunch of fill dirt. Tends to drain the tractor fund real quick.

That Super 99 is one nice PLAY rig. I agree that it is not not $18K nice. Something like that will have to wait until I am independantly wealthy - har, har.

Love my 550 but would certainly like something a bit bigger. I been trying to save for a 1650 WFE DSL, but soon as I get some money ahead something else needs fixing. Been that way my whole life so I guess that's how it goes. Seen an 1855 sitting and left note but still no response from the owner. Thought if I could get my hands on it I would use it for some horse trading on a 1650.

We are putting up a new shed, and for the fill dirt we just had a sign made up-
"Clean Fill Wanted"

"Cover hay for sale" While we started selling cover hay almost imediately, it took a while for the dirt to roll in. Now we have quite a bit of it, and it's all nice red clay, and best of all, it's FREE. I tried working on my 1600's axel again today, torch w/ rosebud, 285 massey and 1755 Ollie chained around both ends, and brother's boss's port-a-power, and still didn't budge, although I did get a little rust dust comeing out as I kept tapping it with a hammer and brother put on heat. This just aint my day. Since you mention tranny's, do you know anyone who wants a Powerglide Tranny? It's out of my blown up '66 bel-air and I need to get rid of it to get a little money.

Will it bolt up to a Buick 231? I am not sure. I do know a fella looking for a short tail tranny for a project rig he is building.
drop me an email with details

Perhaps that can be justification for a big Ollie like an 1850 or 2150 FWA?

Grins to ya! I'll shoot ya an email in a bit.
