need temp sending unit, gas tank strap, gas tank sending unit or complete set up for gas gauge

I ordered a temp sending unit from my local NAPA recently along with a distributor, points etc. The sending units are widely available from most auto parts retailers including the gauges and the strap should be simple to fab from light banding, try your local machine shop. Any gauge or electric part on the 770 should be easy to find locally as Oliver/Cockshutt sourced lots of parts from general parts manufacturers like Delco.
