I visited the tractor yesterday.....was in very nice condition. The issue that will keep me from bidding is its weight. I found one source that said it weighed 10,800. I need to find a MM/Olie in the 7500 pound class. Want disel, tubro an extra.....any models anyone would suggest?

your getting closer Merlin. I see the problem, wrong URL. Go back to Tractor Photos and display your image. Place your cursor over the image and click your right mouse button. Select Properties. The address/URL will be listed for that image. Use that URL for the link.

Hi, Shep! Well...I got the photos into the gallery, but I lost traction when I tried to link them. I thought you might enjoy the photo of the three Oliver re-powers. The 1950-T belongs to my Dad, and the 1855 belongs to a neighbor. The 1955 is out near Owatonna, Minnesota. The IHC 686 is out near Sacred Heart, Minnesota. The A4T's are at an "undisclosed location" in Southeastern Minnesota. The owner of the Minnie's has FIVE of these: three of them run, and these two are in bits and pieces. I re-powered a 2655 Oliver back in 1996. I will post a photo as soon as I can find it! By the way, I used to be "Merlin in Saint Paul", but moved to Saint Louis this fall to enter the seminary. Yes, after 22 years of fixing diesels, I am training to become a pastor. I still like to get my fingers geasy now and again! I will try to link a photo again soon. Merlin

Hello, Sounds like you and I have a lot in common. I live about an hour north of St. Louis. I have a 1850 Ollie (use to have a 1900). I use to be a tractor mechanic for Case/IH and now I'm a pastor of a little country church! If you get up Hwy 61 north of the Cuivre River , stop in and see me!!

Hi, Scott!
A country church sounds good to me! Just yesterday in class, we were talking about "worker priests", or "tentmaker pastors". I told my professor that I would love to have that kind of ministry: working with my head, my hands, and my heart. He told me to be patient, and the day will come. Have a great day!

What Myron said above, your getting close, just paste the properties address in and it should work now.

Cool looking tractors, I love looking at other Cummins / Olivers to see how someone else did the conversion, I always pick up new ideas.

Moved to St Louis to be a pastor Huh, does that mean you have to stop swearing in the shop??? I cant get some things to work right in the shop unless I talk to them right :-).

Glad to hear your still around and doing good.

Hi, Shep!
Give up swearing? Well...I'm getting there! Actually, I work part-time at an International Truck dealer in Saint Louis, and the guys are always apologizing to me about their language. I find it rather humorous, because after seven years in the Seabees, there are not too many words that I have not heard! God offers us forgiveness, but a little effort on our part to strive toward holiness isn't such a bad idea! I hope that all of your tractors ar running well, and that the winter months allow you plenty of time to putter around. Blessings to you!
