Last evening I saw a crawler that the owner claims is a Cletrac with a Ford engine and tin. He said Ford put these together and some books show them this way. Anyone have any info on this setup? oleblu

I have seen a couple of them at Antique Shows with the Ford setup. I have a photo of one somewhere in my pictures. I don't know if Ford made these or if someone installed it in the field. Have also seen them with Allis Chalmers engines. It is a realative easy conversion.

In Wendels Oliver Book there is a picture of a crawler thactor with a Ford tractor adapted to an Oliver crawler chasis. Not much information, the caption mentions experimental. The date mentioned was the 1950's. Delbert
