What did you find on the 1955, or 1855?

Hey Dave -
Not much to report. Went back down there this weekend and my note is still stuck in the door where I left it. Took my digital but forgot to bring charger, wasted all my battery on Jr. Hunter Ed. pics. Will be going back down in 2 wks. Will get pics and post them.

Also spoke with elderly neighbor who said rig has been sitting for nearly 5 yrs. Said the owner is now OTR driver and rarely home. She said next time he was in she would give him my contact info.

Will advise once I have more info!

If the owner is like half the people I talk to about tractors like that he is gonna tell you the "I am gonna fix them up someday".

There are two 1850's and a 1750 that I have been watching rust away in a fence row for the last three years, but the owner is "gonna fix them up sometime" and doesnt want to sell them.

I guess they are his tractors, but I would love to bring them back to life, or a least see him do it so they are not rusting away sitting in the brush.

Maybe you will get lucky and he will tell you to come get them??

Good Luck

well i thought i was the only one who hounds people about rusted old olivers. i have been after this one 1900 for about five years. guy does not want to sell. it is in great shape as far as the tin. just very rusty.everything is together and who wouldn't want to bring back the old detroit. plus the olivers are little harder to find down here in texas. just keep pestering the guy.he will eventually sell.
