I recently bought an old Industrial 77 with a loader as a yard goat for building rock walls,etc.
The motor was out of it, so I could'nt tell how fast (ground speed) it was going to be...this thing boogies...which makes it difficult to work slowly around buildings,etc...can I change any gears out to slow this thing down ??? I have a
spare OC-6 transmission that may fit...any suggestions ????

It is probably your rearend.Oliver made at least three different speed rearends that i know of for sure.The fastest one boogies about as fast as a I.H.Not sure on the trannys,but oliver was known for building about anything you wanted to order as far as gear ranges.I would swap the rearends out if anything.Another thing to look for,does it still have the little tires on back?No one change to 38s,that would incress your speed.
