I need a distrributor for Buda flathead six MOD# HR326 SIR# 36755 Fireing order 1536224 This engin is in a Insley Excauator Crane. About 1941 If anyone has any info, its all the old girl needs

Couldn't help but laugh at that six cylinder firing order 1536224. That adds up to seven, with number 2 getting a double tap.No malice intended,just a good laugh.

Who have you tried so far for parts. I had a guy down south call about gaskets for one about 3 years ago and we found them. It was also in a crane on a barge of all things. Do you have a parts book for the engine?

J Schwiebert I have people tell me a lot of storys. But no action. I have been told that one out of a Allis Chalmers six could fit, but have not found one. Looks like I need to some time off and go on a hunt.

The firing order is determined by the wire location in the dist. cap. I have one from a 230 cub. buda from a cockshutt 40. I will measure it in the morning and post it for you. Jerry
