i got this oliver that seems to have parts from all three. it has the old 77 band brakes. one side the band fits around a piece (donno what word to use here) that is rounded at the edges. i put new padding matterial on the band and it works great. ON THE OTHER SIDE the band fits around a piece that is SQUARED off. its is way to tight with the new padding matterial. any thoughts. thanks for your time.

It sounds like you have the old cast iron drum on one side and the new style stamped steel on the other.
