My mom's husband is going to have a sale this Dec. One of his tractors is a 1850 diesel. It is in very good shape and has mostly been used latly for running augers. I gave it a quick look last time I was up there and did not see any major problems with it. I asked him what it would take to drive it home and he thought he should get $3500.00 out of it. Well I told him I would right him a check right there. He said it was allready listed on the sale and could not sell it.(only the right thing to do). Is there anything that a guy should look for on that model that maybe a problem later on? It has 7600 hours on the engine, new rears, and perfect paint. I would rather have his 770 with a loader but he will not part with that.

Since you already own it's little brother (1750), I can't think of anything your probably not, already, aware of. Too bad it was already listed. Good luck at the auction!!
