I beleave Ollie shows that he has much experience and knowledge with Oliver. His point is well taken about the Operators Manual. On a resent day there was 23 original post 9 could have been anwered from the Operators Manual. I would encourage owner to get one. But if you do not have an Operators Manual post your question on this board as some will probability will anewer it.
In 40+ years in the farm equipment bisiness I have found the people that complain the most are the ones with the least knowledge.
At the top of this page it called Oliver Discussion Board not personalitys.
I suggest if the post by certain people bother you that you do not read them.

Notice everyone likes to complain, but ya know what. Step up and click off the hide email. Maybe then others will think you mean something. Or, your just a whineer. Yeap I can say I don't know everything I am 30 yrs old been turning a wrench for atleast 15 yrs. Got a 2 yr tech degree in ag mecanhics also. Top in my class. But, I still count on others advice on this board and other boards on this site. Take some of the advice with a grain of salt. Most of the times when you get a reply to a questions you get thier opions. But their experince in what they have worked on and seen will lead you to fixing your problem faster instead of trying over and over to fix it. It will be a great lose to use who are greatfull for the help from the ones with experince, if ya all keep whineing. SO IF YOU WANT TO WHINE SHOW YOUR EMAIL OR SHUT THE H UP

Ollie, don't let those trolls drag you back to their rock they crawled out from under. You are an expert of Olivers, Anyone with any common sence and has asked him for help has got great, and accurate advice from him, Leave the guys that are trying to help others alone!!! Men like Ollie are rare, and a person who is willing to share his knowledge is one of a kind. Keep teaching us OLLIE. You are appreciated here, sure, trolls are out there, but you are not there to impress or teach them, It is the other people who need help, those who ask, and seek professional knowledge. Yes I did. Glad you were paying attention. I could care less who you are sick of. So is everyone else. If you can't get along with others, don't play on this site and bash others!!! People like Me and Ollie enjoy what they do, I can't help it if you don't like to learn from others experience. What gives you the right to judge others?? Sure I did say that, I was serious, but the kind folks asked me to continue posting, well, if that is what they want, that is what they got!! If I help 1 person here or if Ollie helps 1 person here that it is well worth the effort to help. People like Athyrio have no right to personally attack others, The readers do not come here to get bashed, They came here to learn, chat and discuss antique, and many other farm related topics. Their is no defense of Ollie, he is an insult to the oliver name. I have no respect at all for a know it all, that goes for you as well chads all you are is a trouble maker. If you both want to help this site then leave and dont come back. No one likes a know it all AND THAT IS WHAT BOTH OF YOUR ARE! The results Ollie or Chads post is a joke. We need some good sources not these jokers. Why dont you all stop wasting our space so someone can post a real question.

Boy, this is great! Some people would complain if they were hung with a BRAND NEW ROPE!!
Being 61 YRS OLD, 20 years ago I never would have dreamed that we could communicate like this, let alone bicker. I don't understand why anybody would wast their time like this, especially if they are married. My wife is more than willing to fight with me ANYTIME I feel like it! Watching you folks scrap IS entertaining for the rest of us, in fact, I don't think I've had this much fun since the pigs ate my little brother!!
I can easily relate it to watching my 6 yr old grand kids trying to share one toy. Have a great day, Larry

I have to agree with Larry. I'm not as old as he is, but I do have 2 young sons and they fight better than you guys have been doing! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but hey, let's play nice! Just because you don't like someones advice or what they have to say doesn't mean that the rest of us might not like to hear it. Not everything works for everybody. Let's keep the variety!
