I would like to build a class II pulling engine. What is the best bore and stroke to have and how to get it. What valves in the head and what sleeves to put in.

for that class 4.060 bore and offset ground crank to 4.25 stroke with farmall c rods works real well. this makes an affordable 331 cid engine that works and dosent make so much torque that you just blow the tires loose and spin out in the mph classes. valves 1.5 in. 1.375 ex. I've got them in oem stem dia. and length.call me 330-939-0124 leave message I will call you asap.
