OH MAN!!!!! slobber, slurp Larry sure has some nice ones, don't he? Now if you were to put a blade on the front of that, you could really move some snow Ollie.

Well, since my shirt front and keyboard are already wet, here's one that's sure to set your mouth to waterin'. WFE's, drop dead gorgeous, 1950T.

I don't want to start another anti-Ollie thread but just want to say that I'm glad your still here. The vacuum advance and oil pressure debates were quite educational, for a novice like me.

You know, the first thing I thought of when I saw that 2655 was that it would be an awesome snow plow. But then sanity struck and I realized that even at 12' - 18' of snow per winter, that would be no challenge at all for such a large, heavy, powerful tractor.

WFE's 1950T looks brand new. That's one to be proud of.

Thanks for the nice thought. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. While you may be a "novice" you are always willing to help others. That's the most important thing.

I have a 2655 and never been able to get it started when snow is on the ground.About the only thing worse than a 310 in a oliver is the engine in the 2655.

I just find this comment curious because the 310's I have seen were among the best starting diesels I have seen. Other problems? yes, but they start. Just a 2 worth.

Starting the 310 was not a problem, but keeping a head gasket in it was, along with poor oil preasure.

Outside of the engine, how do you like the rest of the tractor Larry?

I have not had any other big problems. The tractor is tall so it gives alot of sideways wipping and bounceing in the field. It realy only has 1 gear that can be used in the field the rest are either way too fast or slow.It would drag a 21 foot disc harrow through a wet spot in a field that a 2 wheel drive could not drive though by itself.Starting was not a big problem while my father was still alive,we could just pull it.If you stopped it while warm restarting was not a problem. It did drop 3 valves and destroy pistons and lost oil preasure twice after the updated oil pump system was installed.

That's a real nice unit. The one that caught my eye was the 1955 with the Cummins.
