why oh why do i do these things. i just purchased what i think is a 70 industrial. the gas tank, engine tub-like fenders and transmission back looks to have been an orange color. the frame (tub?) looks to be regular oliver green. the instrument cowling hood and radiator cowling is a lovely rusted pitted color. it has a pto and a front hitch down near the front axle. what must i do with it? (i was looking for a pulling tractor for my son) can i live with an orange and green tractor? Thanks for any advise on what i have and how i should treat it.

70 Industrials were a fairly low production model. It is worth hanging onto. I have one that is in about the same condition as yours (or worse) . I am hoping to restore it someday after my boss tells me I don't have to come to work anymore (ha ha). In the mean time, I am collecting parts for it.

Sounds like a 70 industrial. To be sure that the frame is correct, there should be mounting pads that are tapped with 4 holes on both sides of the frame. These pads were used for mounting attachments, and were on the industrial frames only. Without checking for sure, pads are something like 4" x 6" size. Hope this helps, or e-mail me if you have more questions. Terry.

70 Ind or 70 Hart Parr Ind. There were only 2 70 Hart Parr Inds.
