Hi guys,

What I need is the dimentions of the battery box for an Oliver/Cockshutt 60 Standard.

I want to go to a local parts place and see if they can find me one but when I say Oliver 60 to them their head spins. So if I have the dimentions with me they can show me what they offer and I can see is they have something that will work.

Thanks for the help

On the Oliver/Cockshutt 60 Standard, the battery sits on the LH side of the frame, outside of the clutch door in a box with a lid. Originally there was a formed piece that bolted to the bottom side of the frame rails and extended to the left hand side for the box to sit on. You will most likely have to fabricate a box on your own. I have seen tractors that had 12V Lawn & Garden tractor batteries under fuel tank.

Thanks for the discription. Could you give me the actual dimentions off of one of yours.

I have seen your tractros on your web site and admire the job you have done. I hope to have my 60 look as good as yours.

I think you would be better off measuring the battery and the room you have under the tank and having a welding shop build you one. It would be in better condition and probably cheaper.
