Will a Oliver 88 diesel have enough power to pull a 489 New Holland Haybine?

I've pulled one for years with a 77. You'll have no problem.

Is it the sickle bar type or disk type? If not a disk type it should have enought HP. A little 444 IH (30-35hp) can handle a 7ft unit nicely so a 88D should handle a 9ft. If it is a disk type you'll want at least 70hp twisting its tail.
