There was a sale in this neighbor hood last winter and a nice 4 bottom semimounted plow IH brand. They did not get a bid on it!. I have seen Oliver and Deere plows go for less than a hundred, very few people here plow anymore!. I guess a good question would be do people in that area plow? That is going to affect the value of plows. If it is horse country the mower and rake will sell decent for guys that think they want to make hay. 2 or 3 bottom mounted & pull type plows bring more for the city guy with 5 acres who wants a garden or a collector who has a 77 or 88 or 550 or something and wants to go to a "plow day"

That knock in the 77 might be a worn out wrist pin bushing. Don't run it much untill you find out what it is. It will eventually throw a rod if that is what it is.
