Man wouldn't this be cool if they were still making Olivers??? This is a neat little tractor that the local AgCo dealer had repainted. I kinda wish AgCo would put some of these tractors in Oliver cloths.

Have a look

I remember reading the news bulletin about White dropping the Oliver name, and changing the color scheme. It mentioned that the silver and black was designed by some hot shot automotive style guy.

I thought it sucked then, and still do. Underneath, though, you can't beat a cast iron frame and 6x3 tranny. Meadow green, clover white the way God meant it to be!

Its an ST series AgCo tractor painted up to look like an Oliver. The local AgCo dealer loves Olivers like we do and he took a new Orange AgCo tractor and had it painted. They use it around the dealership moving machines and doing chores, I dont think he is planning on selling that one.

This man (dealer) should be CEO of AGCO, at least he's headed in the right direction! He has my vote (gee, I forgot I'm not on the board)

Sure looks allot better in Oliver colors. I'll bet the Oliver painted one would sell before the AGCO Orange ones.

You know it Myron, I think that green tractor looks a lot better than the Orange. I surly know from being around the dealership it causes more of a stir with people than the Orange ones do. I think it would be cool to have some new Meadow Green tractors running around again.

Hopefully AGCO will think it's a good idea as well.

If for some reason I had more money than I could possibly spend one of the first things I would do is to buy all the Oliver patents and rights [all things being for sale for enough money], go to Charles City and buy all the property needed to build a plant and we would soon have Olivers on the market again. My fantisy. Delbert
