Where is the final drive fluid level checked? I was told there are two compartments for fluid. I know where the front is and I think the rear is under the driver's seat. Am I correct? This rear compartment is low. Is 80-90 transmission fluid the right stuff for this tractor?

The check plug for the final drive is close to the transmission check plug and if the original plug is there a 1/2 inch drive ratchet or break-over bar will take it out. The first thing I can think of under the seat is the hydraulic oil and it has a dip stick. Do not put 80/90 in there. It is good for the final drives though.

Buy the operator's manual (at least) from this site.
