Considering bidding on a 1958 Oliver 770 (SN 61-608-721) tractor at an upcoming auction sale. The tractor is running but the owners said the clutch is shot. What's the ballpark figure for replacing the clutch in this tractor? My 1998 Intertec price guide lists the estimated value range from $1,850 to $3,200 (minus costs of repairs) for this tractor. I own a 1946 Oliver 70 with a Raby custom cab. Looking to add to the Oliver collection, which is still outnumbered by Minneapolis-Moline and Farmall tractors on the farm. My manuals show about 120K-130K 770's mfg. from 1958-67? Any help with this question is appreciated!

here in ky the 770 plain bring from 1200-2000 the clutch if you do it yourself will run around150
