I am about to attempt to fix an 880 that jumps out of 5th and 6th gear when going down hills. Someone told me that it was probably worn shifting forks. How hard are they to replace and how would I go about replacing them? I found a whole 880 rear end and final drive that I could get parts off of it for cheap. It has a 3 point on it and I thought about just swapping out the whole thing because the man wants $350 for it. I don't really need a three point and I would like to go with the easiest thing to get it working right. Which do you think would be the easiest?
