"OLIVER HART-PARR" by C.H. Wendel. Published by Crestline. You just can't go wrong there. (there are a few bits of inaccurate information--like 1755, 1855, & 1955 having a hydraulically operated clutch[hydraulically operated PTO clutch] but, on the whole, for a encyclopedic project of it's magnitude, it is an excellent referrence book) "A GUIDE TO HART-PARR, OLIVER, AND WHITE FARM TRACTORS 1901-1996" by Larry Gay, published by the ASAE. This is a dynamic paperback book, and no Oliver fan should be without it. "Progress... in Tractor Power from 1898" published by the Charles City Plant, White Farm Equipment. This is a small, out-of-print paperback, that was written by the folks that built these tractors; The Tractor People, and, although only about 45 pages, it is very worthwhile to track one of these down. By using a search parameter of 'White tractor', one of these can occaisionally be found for sale on eBay. Depending on who is looking for one of these at the time, it might not be cheap, but it'll be worth it.
