Are the wheels on a 2255 adjustable? I was wondering if you could row crop corn planted on 30" rows?

The answer may depend on your equipment and what you want. I have wider tires and a cab on the back and can't figure out how to get them in narrow enough to make it work. I'll have to change rims and tires.

If you get the front narrowed up, it will rub the frame and keep your turning radius big. It will go narrower than the book says you should set it. I think it will go 66" but the book says stay wider to avoid hitting the frame.

If you have one and want to make it work, it might be worth some fuss, but if you're buying one for a row crop tractor, my own experience is that it may not be what you want, or may be so marginal that it won't work on hills or turn short enough.

The guys I know did it with the cab fender tanks in place. He might have had to tweak the tanks a little and it wasn't a true 60" center but it would sidedress corn.

I would have to ask again to remember exactly but it worked.

I row crop with mine on 30" rows all the time works fine. You cannot have the factory cab or fender fuel tanks. other wise it works. I had to modifi the fenders on mine a bit to get in far enuff with the canopy on. MFWD goes to 66" which is tight but works rear is 61" Good luck

The wheel are adjustable in a very narrow range due to the outboard planetary drives. Your rear rims should have two ridges that the wedge clamps can use.
