Thats what my dad thought last night anyway.... He went out to spread some turkey manure last evening with the 1850 Cummins and the 9 ton litter spreader before planting some millit. Well I had worked the field two days before and it was soft, and right as the spreader was getting empty he tried to spread near the creek as he was coming up to exit the field and the 1850 tractor sunk in the dirt and mud, clear into the rims. Not good. So I had to go out and rescue him last night about 8:30 pm and took the 1855 with the big Titan radials on it, and pulled him up outta the mud. Amazing, almost the same tractor, same Cummins engine, difference is the tires, and man what a difference. Guess thats why I am thinking about putting tires on the 1850 and asking more questions about radials. Wish I woulda had the camera with me, that was a site to see, the 1850 buryed in the field and the 1855 pullin her out. Well maybe next time, the field isnt planted yet!!!! You all have a good one, I am off to a tillage demo today for work, going to look at some of the new tractors and tillage toys and try to make some loans for them, guess I can drool....
