I was doing a job in a small town today. I saw a small place with several Olivers for sale. I have been looking for a machine for a young freind of mine. I told him to quit looking for your high dollar "acerage tractors" since in this part of Iowa they cost more then hens teeth. Well to make a long story short, I see this 1850 Oliver wf,gasser, rubbers fair but not great. 4000 some on the clock. Price $2850. Problem is, do I tell my freind about it or go down and buy it myself and drive it home and put it in the shed nxt to my 1750?

Give your friend first chance to buy it, then if he waits, go buy it. He will want it then. If not, it will look good next to the 1750. I would reccommend fuel tank fenders for it though.
