Oliver 66 Hydraulics

Hello, I have an Oliver 66 Diesel with hydraulics. I have not tried to use the hydraulics yet as no line are hooked up, but I noticed that there is an electrical plug on the side of the unit and a setting for hydraulics on the key switch. Is the pump electric or are those contols only used for the hydralectric draft contol system?

The pump is not electrical. The valves inside the unit were controlled with electric solenoids. If you have a handle(S) on the outside of the unit you do not need the electric solenoids. Make sure you keep oil in the unit no matter if you are using it or not as the pump runs any time the engine runs. Questions send me an e-mail
