I would like to know more about your tractor and where you are located. I would say 1962 would have been the last of them as that is when Cockshutt became part of Oliver/White Farm equipment. Of course the tractor came back several years later as the model 1250.

No, it didn't; it's restyled successor, the 415, became the Oliver/Cockshutt 1250.

And, to answer above, while some sources give it that Cockshutt started importing the 411R/411RG in 1961, they may have already been at it as early as 1959. Oddly enough, like Oliver, they already had a utility tractor produced in-house, but also wanted a European one to compete with the flood of European imports, with their superior draft sensing hydraulic systems.

Glad to know that. I remember in service school when the 1250 was introduced we were told it was based on the 411 tractor. Of course that has been a few years ago. I worked on a 411 one time and I know the hood opened different than a 1250. Also the 411 was only sold by Cockshutt in Canada just the same as the 700 was. Or so we were told.

The 415 was not much more than a 411R/411RG with new sheet metal; much the same as a 615(the Oliver/Cockshutt 1450) wasn't much more than a restyled 513R. I doubt any straight Fiat 415/615 tractors(or 513R's) were imported to North America. The grilles(stamped steel) were just slightly different in styling from the (fiberglass) Oliver/Cockshutt 1250/1450 ones, although I do have a picture from a chap in MI who has a cream-coloured Cockshutt 1250 with the Fiat 415 stamped steel grille.

*don't confuse the '615' engine in the 411R/411RG/415 for the tractor model
