What is a fair price for an Oliver 107 rake in very good-excellent condition? Does it vary depending on location? How does this rake compare to a NH 56 or JD 640?

I just got a 107 on a Memorial Day auction for $160. Seems like a bargin to me. Other rakes were going for $300-350. You can see my 107 at the link below. When you get there click on the pictures link.

There is an equipment in middle TN advertising an Oliver 107 with dolly for $700. His ad comes out in a weekly trader magazine and it has been advertised for 3-4 months which should tell him something. Even though Oliver runs in my blood I passed on his Oliver and bought a NH 256 w/o dolly for $750. I bought the NH because of parts availability and what I have seen they do a better job.
The rake that I learned to rake hay was the Oliver model No.2. It did an excellent job but was hard to transport.

Larry- I'd say other then condition, its what a person is willing to spend on that side rake is its value. The 207 would compare to a 256 New Holland, and the 107 rake is similar to a 55 New Holland rake. The wheels are not offset, its a staight axle unit. I guess what few 107's I have seen have brought around 200 bucks, but it all depends on the area, quality of machine, et al.
