Put a new throw-out bearing in the 77 puller last year. This year it's making noise.Has anyone ever cut a opening in the bellhousing to lube them before.Rather not have to pull the motor. Thanks

Yes ,but oliver has a greaseable bearing and a hose allong with the right holder that lets you grease from the outside. This kit had to be retrofited on the older tractors. Some tractors came with a larger hole and a zerk right on the bearing.Napa and some other places are trying to sell this bearing instead of the one with the grease hose.

I've drilled a hole in the bell housing of my brothers Oliver "77". Squirted oil in. It worked.
