One tip if you do buy the Agco ones, they fit pretty tight in the holders and you can break that plastic end if your not careful, I cracked one of my new ones putting it in. I said a few choice words after cracking a $180 part that I really didnt want to buy in the first place. Take a file or some emery cloth and grind the plastic down a little, dont get too hard on it with a hammer trying to put it in the drag link or you will bust it.

Seems to me this is another case of AgCo being the only one that makes this part so they screw it to you. I have found that on several of their parts that they think they are the only one that makes them. Ever try to buy a steering hose for behind the dash?? or better yet a front grill screen for in front of the radiator??? Or the steering cylinders for a MFWD tractor??? Some of their prices on parts are WAAAYYY out of line.

The good news is after you put them in the steering works a whole lot better and if you keep them greased they should last you for another 30 years.

I was helping the neighbor bale and wet wrap some rye last monday and it had been rained on for about 3 weeks and I think I got into some mold off that hay and it really messed me up this week. Been almost like the flu cept Im not sick on my stomach. Had a feaver on and off the last two days and my head feels like it is gonna explode. Not really enough to put me in the bed, but just enough to make me feel like crap all day. Feeling a little better today, but I dont think I am gonna do much in the shop this weekend.

Sorry I been off the net here for a bit, but I should be hittin on all cylinders here in a few days.

You got all your corn planted yet, I am still trying to figure out how to hook the corn planter to a pontoon boat so I can get across the field. Got about 45 acres of the 150 planted so far. Hopefully it will break a little next week and we can get in the fields again.
