Can I run a one-way cylinder on my 1650?

Is there an adjustment that must be made when switching from a two way to a one way cylinder?

Thanks
T

Yes, it's covered in the operator's manual.

Thanks Ollie, but I don't have a manual.
Can you tell me how to do it?

we never changed anything, plugged the cylinder hose in to the remotes

per the manual: On Hydra-Electric units, single-acting cylinders may be connected to either side of unit but can only be used on one side at a time. If single and double-acting cylinders are to be used together, single-acting cylinder must be connected to right side of unit and double-acting cylinder to left. Single acting cylinder must be disconnected from unit for three-point operation.

Two interlock bleed screws, located directly opposite each other in control housing, must be turned in completely for double-acting cylinder applications. If a single-acting cylinder is to be connnected to unit, turn bleed screw on that side of unit counterclockwise three full turns. Always loosen sealing nut before adjusting bleed screw. Be sure to tighten nut after adjusting.

Loosen sealing nut and turn bypass valve cap screw out five or six turns before using a single-acting cylinder. Tighten seaqling nut after adjusting. To ensure proper automatic draft control of drawn implements, close bypass valve when single-acting cylinder operation is completed

Good luck
