Does anyone have any thoughts on a Oliver 1450 tractor? I have found one that seems to run fine but I can't find it listed in my book. Does anyone know how much horsepower they have. Thanks

I have an Oliver 1450. It's a great tractor but hard to find parts for. If someone knows of a Oliver/Cockshutt 1450 that has been salvaged would they please let me know.

I bought a red one about 15 years ago. It was this tractor that turned me away from John Deere. It has 55 pto hp. Good tractors as long as they have not been beat to death. Watch over 4000 hours they get a little hard to start in the real cold weather. As is typical of Euro tractor of this age,hydraulics are not that great when it comes to capacity,or flow gpm. I never had trouble with parts,but then again I never needed much more than filters and a few front end pieces.

Talk to DSL about that tractor, he is the import king. That tractor is a Fiat/Oliver tractor and from what I am told about them, they are near to impossible to get parts for especially the 50 series of these tractors. On the up side most of the 1450, 1350 and 1250 tractors I have seen sell real cheap,,, wonder why???
Now I think the 60 and 70 series tractors were a lot better and parts are more plentiful, but I have never heard much good about the 50's
