I have a 77 row crop oliver and can't seem to find any conclusive information on how many horsepower this tractor actually has. Can anyone help. It has the 6 cylinder engine and dual hydralics if that helps. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also was a three point hitch ever made at the factory for this model. Please email me at [email protected]. Thank you.

A book I have on Oliver tractors called A Guide to Hart-Parr , Oliver and White tractors , 1901 to 1996 , by Larry Gay says on page 34 that the Oliver 77 row crop was tested twice at Nebraska tests . In November 1948 , the Row Crop 77 gasoline engine tested 29.90 hp on draw bar and 35.13 hp on the belt . In September 1949 , the Row Crop 77 gasoline engine tested 34.20 hp on draw bar and 38.82 hp on belt . That is what the Book says anyway .
