How many Cockshutt 1955 standard tractors were made and what would they be worth in average condition.

I dont think Oliver made seperate plates for Olivers painted Cockshutt red, so I guess all anyone can do is guess for you for production numbers. I would take a stab at a fair price around oh, $4,000. I also think that the Cockshutt message board should be placed under the Cockshutt tab, because Oliver and Cockshutt were two totally different companies until White Farm decided to have Cockshutt tractors become red Olivers. My thoughts on both subjects....for what they are worth:)

I agree on the splitting of the 2 tractors.

FWIW, I think a lot of Cockshutt followers are also interested in Oliver (me, for instance), and I find it more convenient to have them combined, especially since a lot of Cockshutts were Olivers, at "both ends" of their existence.

I agree with Mike(WA). I have a few Cockshutt build tractors plus a red 1755 machine. All have respective merits and I enjoy reading info on all of them right here.
