What's it worth?
1850 Perkins diesel. Runs well. WF, 1PTO, 2remotes. 3pt, no toplink. Good mechanical condition. New tires and seat cushions. Unknown hours, but a northern tractor. Perfect sheetmetal and rims. Very little rust, but could use paint.

I would say $4,000 to $5,000 but would echo what J Meyer says about wide front and 2 vs 3 speed . 3 speed definately makes tractor more versitile . Also I would be interested in how much work has been done on engine and tractor in general . If no work has been done , tractor is at point where oil and fluid seals on engine and auxillary drive could be going and would need replacing . I bought a one owner 1850 about 3 or 4 years ago that had about 3000 hours . I had the tractor maybe 6 months when the rear engine oil seal went and so I went through a replaced all seals on engine and auxillary drive while I had the engine out of the frame . I would also be interested in age of clutch because you have to take engine out to replace that and age of hydraulic pump which , if it is old , will cost an arm and a leg to replace if you go back with a new hydraulic pump .

Well, some of the price depends on what type of front end is on there and what size of rears are on there too. The average price around here(se Minnesota) would be around $5,000. You will need to take into account for things like the 2 or 3 speed, tire size, et al. Good luck on the tractor:)
