Oliver 2655 4WD tractor

Went to an auction Sat where they had two 1972 Oliver 2655 4WD tractors on LP with full duals. I went with the intention of trying to get one but they went for a little more than I was prepared for.

One was pretty sharp, the other a little rough - went for $6100 and $5900 respectively. A good price I'm sure but I wasn't prepared for that.

One stayed here in S.W. Kansas and the other went to Kentucky.

Big, neat ole' brutes.

Just wanted to pass on the info. I do have some digital photos if interested.

Heck, I'de like to see photos of them too. I'm researching for a book on the history of Minneapolis-Moline, & 2655's are MM's I havn't seen a 1655 w/ 800,, but would like to. that price was cheap, if they were good. recently in Illinois a MM A4t-1600 w/800 sold for over $12,000 I'm told.

Hey everyone, If any of you are in Ohio or near Ohio, I have 2655's that run all spring. Both are 585 diesels, one is turbo charged. One is restored. Heck, you could even run it up and down the field if you like. Have a good evening.

I would sure like to see your photos also. I have only ever seen one 2655 in a photo and that was years ago in a farm magazine article about someone that was using one.

the reason they wrer high is the 800 motors there are only a handfull of these built from the factory
