Oh shes comin around, but I have a feeling I am going to have to put in a new bathroom in the house before I can buy anymore toys..... I imagine after the new bathroom she will be so ingrossed in that she wont even remember the yellow tractor anymore..... I gotta start buying all the same color tractors though, a big yellow tractor is hard to hide in with the big green ones. Your more than welcome to come to VA anyway and help me work ground this spring though, we have plenty of tractor drivin to do around here when the weather breaks... Not planning on changing the engine on this one unless I have to. The old 585 MM sounds pretty good and even if it does start having problems I will probably try to rebuild it and update it and get it going again. Well at least I will rebuild it once before repowering it. Just like the 310 Waukesha, I gave it two shots at a rebuild before I finally gave up, same with the 585 Moline, I will give it a few shots at living. I am learning a lot about the 585 engine and there are some updates and things I am finding out I need to do to it to make it last a little longer, kinda like the updates to the 310 that you have to do. I need to put an external oil pump on it with spin on oil filters, slow the RPMs to 2000 max, change the 4 main bearings, and if the engine starts slobbering too much I need to put in 2655 Pistons with better rings and more clearence, and replace the valves with 2-150 White valves. Thats the updates I have learned so far, but am always looking for more.
