Oliver 88 clutch problems

I just put a new clutch and pressure plate in my 1953 oliver 88. I got the PTO shaft to line up but couldn't for the life of me line up the Clutch (outter) shaft. After speaking to some with more experience Its been reccommended I pull the clutch out and align it with the clutch shaft in it before torquing it down. My trouble is I can't figure out how to remove this shaft and collar. The collar had been previously damaged and I need to remove it too. So I guess my questions are how do I do it and where can I get the replacement collar? Any information is greatly appreciated. Richard

Its the collar that clamps down the clutch shaft to the transmission. I'm thinking to get it off the PTO shaft I need to pull the PTO shaft from the rear. Does that sound right?

Rich,
Yes, You will need to remove the long PTO drive shaft from the rear of the tractor first. Then you can slide the coupler apart. One shaft runs inside the other.

Thanks Steve, The PTO shaft came out easily and the tractor is running again!
