I was wandering about putting a flat belt pully on our 550 I have seen them on A Ford mounted on the PTO at the back of the tractor I was wandering if I need to find one for the 550 or will one for a Super 55 or a ford work

I was on the MM board Awile back and they were talking about there tourq amplifier that you should not run it in low range untel it is warmed up I was wandering if this aplies to my over under in our 1755 I always try to start in under thinking it was easer on the tractor becous it was the lowest gear or am I wrong.

Thank you Thomas

The ford belt pullys wont bolt right up. the bolts don't fit.s55 and 550 pullys will work on either. You don't need to warm up the over/under to use low or any other gear.
