Looking for an aftermarket supplier for the tie rods on 1950 Wheatland. Agco wants over $300 each. Anyone know where I can find these cheaper?

Try another AGCO dealer. I just put a new one on my 1950-T (adjustable front axle; not wheatland). It was an AGCO part and cost me $70. That's for the entire tie rod assembly for one side. I didn't think that was too bad.

I priced the wheatland tie rod. It is fixed and not adjustable, only the ends screw in and out for adjustment. She then checked the price for a row crop and it was in the 75 dollar range complete. I may just put 2 new row crop rods on and forget it. Just hate to change the look, but for $230 less it may just have to look different.

I put new ones on my 1955 a couple years ago. They came from A&I products and I bought the complete units. They weren't nearly that expensive. WB.
