So which Olivers were yellow coming from the maker? I assume they might be the industrial versions, or correct me if I am wrong.

According to my books, the G-1355 was a hybrid; Oliver rear end and the Moline engine, available as a Moline and Oliver.

The one in the picture is an industrial. I believe it is a White Mighty Tow 2-115. Nice rig with a 4-53 Detroit.

A book put out by White-New Idea Farm Equipment Company in 1987 states that in 1971 the following Oliver tractors were painted yellow and sold as Minneapolis-Moline tractors:1555 (G-550), 1655 (G-750), 1755 (G-850), 1855 (G-940). The Oliver 1955 was not included in this list. Also in 1971, numerous Moline models were painted green and sold as Olivers. The industrial tractors were also painted yellow for several years.

I had a neighbor who bought a new Minneapolis Moline, don't remember the number but it was an Oliver painted yellow with white wheels. It was like a 1755
