Oliver 66 is missing the oil restrictor washer and tube on the oil filter housing. What can I use to make one of each of these up? Sizes and dimensions of restrictor washer and tube? Same should be used on the 550, 77 and 88's? Will others fit? Any one have any spares out there? I need two of them. Thanks.

Use a piece of 1/4" OD brake line, fill the end with brass (braze it closed). Grind a bevel on one end, drill a 1/16" hole in it, cut to 3" long, the replacement tube that I bougth from dealer is only 1 1/2" but my parts book shows it longer, you have almost the length of the fillter anyway.I had to open the hole up to 3/32", to much pressure I now have 5-7 pounds at idel and 40 at 2000 RPMs. But I have a rebuilt motor. You won't need the resitor disk anymore with this tube. I ask the same question about a year ago, I did not get a answer so I bougth a tube and I am still a little sore from that. It was over $20.oo plus shipping
